Doesn't really fit in this thread but it's a cool story and that peanut butter is pretty damn good .

    Like like like like infinity.

I smash peanut butter every day and Pics is my favourite. As the article states, the difference between that and the others is enormous.

    Make your own!

We make up to a couple kg a time in our magimix - peanuts, a bit of oil and some salt. It's really good. Be careful though - conventional food processors have brushed motors, which can burn out under the load. Really easy, fresh and tasty.

Pics is good but. Well done that man.

Bin Inn stores have a make your own peanut butter department, according to some guy who I work with. Buy bulk peanuts, make your own paste, package it up and you're away.

But yeah, Pics PB is sensational.

When I was buying it once, the dude at the register mentioned the price and how he makes his own. Clearly it's a pretty easy process, but most of us are too lazy.

Anyone know what peanut butter sales are like since schools banned any hint of peanuts? Must have taken a pretty big hit.

    @MN5 GFYs.

The clown rants in stuff and social media about how awful her bosses are and then wonders why they want her gone? I made the mistake of reading one of the articles in the weekend and the impression I got was that ms Gillespie has a nodding aquaintance with reality. That's not surprising considering she feels that the vast amounts of plastic surgery she's had have somehow improved her appearance but I think she's pretty much batshit crazy these days.

Yet she's still held up as some sort of idol by loads of people.

Fuck I despair at the human race

Allow me to hijack this by suggesting everyone try my mate's brand Fix & Fogg. Got bored with teaching law, so started making peanut butter about four years ago and now distributes throughout Australasia.

@MN5 there can't be that many people left that actually care what she thinks anymore surely? Her brand has been in decline for years and she's pretty fucking weird even by NZ shitlebrity standards.

Actually thinking about the fuss over the Beyoncé of the news last year you might be right. Ffs.

@Smudge is it in supermarkets? I can't say I've seen it. Will give it a go though.

Generally only New Worlds (yet to get into Countdowns, I believe). It's about $7-8 a jar depending on whether it's on special, but give it a crack. If you hate it, PM me and I'll reimburse you...

Flavours are: smooth, crunchy, dark chocolate, and smoke & fire (infused with chilli)

Ooh, that last one sounds very tempting. I might give it go.

Fix & Fogg is excellent. I'm a big fan of the spicy one.

@Smudge shows how appalling my powers of observation are , we have a jar of the chilli one my mrs got in a gift basket.
It must have been good because my boy ate all of it and put the empty jar back in the cupboard.
