I thought it would be easier to have a thread for all comments not relating to NZ games. @Duluth can move other posts from the NZ-SA match thread if he wants.

Anyway, this was the Australian U20 team that played Argentina. Note that their starting 9 and 10 don't come from the big three teams.

    1 Jack Barrett (Waratahs)
    2 Bryn Edwards (Waratahs)
    3 Tevita Alatini (Brumbies)
4 Toby Macpherson (Brumbies – captain)

    7 Joe Liddy (Reds)
    8 Jack Harley (Brumbies)
    9 Doug Philipson (Force)
    10 Joey Fowler (Rebels)
    11 Xavier Rubens (Reds)
12 Ronan Leahy (Force – vice captain)
    13 Jarrah McLeod (Brumbies)
    14 Will McCulloch (Reds)
    15 Shane Wilcox (Brumbies)

    16 Nathaniel Tiitii (Waratahs)

The weather conditions (rain, wind) were really bad in the Aust-Arg game, particularly near the end. Sunshine Coast my arse!

Aust made handling errors chasing the game and the big Arg forwards were hard to stop near the tryline.

Aust lead SA 10-7 at HT in their game. SA played the last 20 mins with 14 players after the SA LH prop was yellow-carded (upgraded to red) for direct head contact in a cleanout. Anyones game now that it is 15 vs 15 again.

Second half has been pretty good. After being shit in the first game I thought Aus would get hammered but they've been pretty good. Really good scrum and lineout was good too.

24 -14 with 5 to go. SA down to 14 players for the last 5 too

I thought that the PT was a little unlucky as that was the turning point in the match. The result means that NZ-Aust will be all on.

Current points table. In theory all four teams can win the tournament.

The final points table. If Australia had beaten NZ and denied them a BP they would have won the tournament.

@KiwiMurph Yes, much better preparation for the WC than in previous years. NZ has France in their pool so that will be the acid test against the big NH forward packs.
