@No-Quarter Did he cry and bemoan how unfair it is that everyone picks on him?

Big question for Afghanistan was always going to be whether they'd be able to post a big enough score to give their bowlers something to defend.

    Looks like they couldn't.

    All out for 56.

Can we give SA an asterisk for "they only had to beat Afghanistan"? 🙂

To be fair that total would have challenged us

@OomPB Indians cruise past England and into the final.

On the plus side - Kohli has had a terrible tournament so far. He's averaging slightly less than 11.

On the downside - he's due!

An interesting final matchup. SA as newbies to CWC finals in total, and India not having a CWC T20 title since the inaugural comp in 2007.

India's record, while one more title than us, still feels surprising given the IPL etc.

@KiwiMurph sigh guess I'm backing the Proteas then. Just to keep India's drought going.

Someone still has to stop Rohit Sharma at the top.
Also doesn’t help SA that India have had something like five different player of the match awards, so someone different has stood up each time

Could hope for another nightmare pitch as an equaliser?

@bayimports Yeah - pretty tough job for SA to win this one. The Indians have pretty much dismantled all comers to date.

I guess the Jaapies have done what they did at RWC - repeatedly snuck home by a point.

Proteas have enough match winners for T20. So far it was only one that pull us through. Now we need at least three to hit form in the final.

Klaasen fighting back bigtime. SA have reverse choked this final with 5 1/2 overs to go

    ...and another 6! He's 43 off 20
