@Chris In an interview at the Launch in Sydney BB said Sotutu had a small knee issue but should be playing soon. I have heard nothing re: Christie but he did not play either of the preseason games.
I like the idea of Clark at 8 but thought Suafua might get the spot first. Maybe Suafoa is covering Lock from the bench due to the locking injuries.

I was at the semi-final and final games that year, the crowd was so incredibly loud, even singing. Never heard anything like it since in NZ. It was deafening.

Terrell Peita and Matamua Fox got through a ton of work

In the forwards Jimmy Tupou was as solid as
James Thompson and Selby Rickett were superb in the lineout
Injury to Caleb Trask looked niggly

I was going to say 'short' on locks, but we aren't the Canes. Although we seem to be struggling

Beehre is not listed as injured. He should be in the 23

The Blues were asking a lot of Suafoa in the last match to play 80mins and move to lock in the last quarter. If he is going to cover Loosie/Lock he should do it from the bench. I'd prefer him to be seen primarily as a 8 or 6 though

@Duluth Neither Beehre or Christie played preseason or for the 'A' team yesterday so must be injured. Steven Harris said Cam Christie may be out long term with concussion symptoms. I haven't seen the Blues/Chiefs game yet. Hope to watch it tonight.

The only way to know for sure is to see who is training. There were a number of non-playing squad players shown on the field after the game. As mentioned, Sullivan was on crutches. Sititi was there too.

@Duluth I see Josh Beehre in a maul there with PT so he might be back this weekend. also Ben Ake involved in contact so he must be recovering well from his surgery. Hopefully Sotutu is also close to returning.
