I'd prefer it if there wasn't a visible shot clock. The kickers have plenty of time

The reason you need a clock is because you are time wasting. You are either trying to prevent a kickoff, use up time during a card, or burn time at the end of the match because you are in front. All negative time wasting

Kiwis get all hot about time wasting in other areas of the game but not this one

Also, fans should criticise their player when they fuck up not the officials. It shouldn't be their job to hand hold you during time wasting. At most a ref should say "Hurry up"

The ref warned DMac. He seems to just ignore. Maybe with a shot clock a team mate could stand close by and tell him to hurry TFU

if it was me I would make the following chanegs to the starting team

        Ratima
        Proctor
        Clarke replaces MT

I think this team would suit their gameplan more. If it was a smash and bash Blues gameplan then Christie and RI starting

Wrong headline. Should read "Robertson to recall Richie McCaw and Ma'a Nonu to counter threat of Toby Flood"

Think we might see a new cap, but no spectacular changes. Ratima if TJP is not right and Proctor.

Hopefully we'll see at least one new tactic as well.

You have to admire the balls to even bother typing 'By and large, the All Blacks are expected to pick and stick with the same side that pipped England in a tense finish in Dunedin last week' as if it provides any insight rather than making a desired wordcount.

Another huge game this weekend. Will fortress Eden Park withstand.
                      Will Razor and Co adapt.
Loosies need to up their game.

                            @Victor-Meldrew

We adapted in the 2nd half to negate the rush defence. It wasn’t pretty but it was good to see a change in tactics and to do what’s necessary to win the game.

Feels like we hadn’t seen that for a while.

England will bring that heat again and I have no doubt we will have a plan to be able to beat it. It’s whether we can execute that plan is the million dollar question.

Let’s see how good super coach is at adapting to a side for a second match. It’s fairly new territory for him to have the opportunity to play the same side a week later

Apart from at halfback, the only change I’d make is to bring Akira on to the bench.

I'd have him as the starting 6 but he's sadly not in the squad.

Akira's power would be perfect against England.
