Why are people blaming Aumua for a lineout where he had no targets? The whole thing was a debacle and speaks volumes about the coaching and selecting.

Winger’s not wrong. The Crusaders are the most represented franchise in this squad yet they were by far the worst team this year. It’s not surprising the ABs are playing like them. Yes TJ, Jordie and Aumua at the end there weren’t good enough but neither were most of the other players on the park tonight. Blackadder was heavily outmuscled after all the talk about how good he is physically, Taylor was ineffective and was garbage in the two tests against England, Reece had just as many meltdowns as the Canes players tonight and Newell cocked up at scrum time in a pivotal moment in the game. But I forgot, Cantabs can’t do anything wrong. What a fucking joke.

Oh no I will admit every one was poor tonight the coaches the players the game plan the Captain was shit.

Well, that was a fun game to watch, NPC-esque. Loose as, lots of points, plenty of open footy. Some sexy tries from both sides.
Congratulations Argentina, they played footy right from the word go, any time they had possession they attacked. And they tackled well all night, and put heat on every ruck. A great win.
Disappointing from us. Lots of helter skelter shit. Seems our plan is chaos ball, fast fast fast. It's not a very good plan. But it makes the selections make a lot more sense.
Interesting that our two best periods of play that led to two very nice tries looked very much like 2024 Blues. But just without their players.
Darry was fucking awesome. I'm interested to see Vaai catching strays when he was thr only player I saw actually hit anyone with any force. Blackadder worked really hard, but there isn't much outcome there. The other two loosies were shit.
Thr backline is seriously disjointed. And it's all a moment of individual brilliance that sparks things.
Oh god how bad were the bench forwards?? Sititi looks like what he is, an absolute rookie elevated ahead of his time. Aumua shat the bed. Lord was 18 steps down from darry. Yuck.
This was not good from us. Very yuck. I expect us to win next week, but that 23 in the Republic is in for a nasty nasty time

@Duluth Robertson made the right noises there in the circumstances: praised the Argentinians, no excuses, owned the defeat, take the learnings and improve.
But there is no hiding that the selection, the game management and skill execution under pressure were all extremely poor.

As for Taylor I think there was a shit load of other players stinking the game up more in that 66 minutes he was on the field it actually got worse in the last 15 minutes of that test it was awful. -

For example Taylor had 66 minutes to impact that game and help put it beyond reach, fucking up a fair amount along the way, but when Aumua comes on and doesn’t perform it’s suddenly all his fault we lost the test. Get a grip of yourselves.
Never said Amua lost the test on his own he had a lot of help,
As for Taylor I think there was a shit load of other players stinking the game up more in that 66 minutes he was on the field it actually got worse in the last 15 minutes of that test it was awful.All in all it was dreadful. We need to flush the dunny and move on. Everyone on here knows we can be better. It’s time for these guys to start bloody showing it no matter what province they are from.

Taylor was the shit throwing hooker in the two tests in England and we were lucky to get out of those tests without atleast one loss. Razor has a lot of work to do. The honeymoon is over.

Drop them all useless.Drop Taylor and Blackadder aswell. No effect at all. Blackadder flying back like that as our enforcer and then missing a one on one tackle under our posts was just embarrassing. Taylor shouldn’t have been starting tonight, he was garbage in the first two tests. Maybe starting Aumua would have given him more confidence instead of throwing him in last minute when we were already under the pump.
Again, it falls on Razor with shit selections and shit tactics.
He chose not to select the form Super players like Sotutu, Love, Lakai, Ioane etc so he can fall on the sword when it all turns to shit for all I care.
