it doesnt seem that hard to understand, play it where you will get crowds, at least for enough years so as to make it "a thing"...that then smaller markets might want to get involved

Good to see teams making their own schedule release videos.

Reds Simpson's inspired video is gold

Any date for squad naming? The Blues CEO said "in November".

@Tim I was thinking the same thing wasnโ€™t it the 1st of November last year.

9th of November last year... I think the whole official squad naming is basically irrelevant at this point, because teams are announcing signings ahead of time.

@frugby Hurricanes squad should be at least interesting as they haven't announced the replacements for Moorby, Rayasi, Aidan Morgan & Jordie, also heard Brett Cameron will be sidelined. also if Richard Judd isn't back they will then have the 3rd 9 to reveal

3rd 9 would be Preston I'd imagine. He's done enough.

                  I hope Harkin get's Morgan's spot.

Looks like Cameron is gone for the season anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Northland wing Heremaia Murray in negotiations with the Reds for the 2025 season ,just awaiting on paperwork to see if he can be released back for the Npc.
Rob Rush possibly to the Chiefs as preseason cover

@Bovidae You could never question Robs ,fitness, physicality ,tackling and lineout ability but loses his head at times and strays away from game maps which has frustrated the Taniwha coaches but also the Blues coaches .
Is prone to losing head in certain situations
If he can get his top 2 inches in the right place iโ€™m sure he can progress from there

I feel like he also missed a trick not signing with the Highlanders when he had the chance to. Don't know how well he would have gone down there, but breaking into the Blues loose trio is no easy task.

There's a vacancy at 6, which looks like a straight shootout between Segner and Suafoa.

If he comes back, where would be best for NZ Rugby? Seems like the national coaches want to see Haig, Blackadder, Jacobsen and Sititi starting every week. The Hurricanes are pretty set too. So the Blues are the best landing spot?

Then there is the Shannon Frizzle conversation, were will he end up ? Crusaders, Blues , any rumors out there.

If he comes back, where would be best for NZ Rugby? Seems like the national coaches want to see Haig, Blackadder, Jacobsen and Sititi starting every week. The Hurricanes are pretty set too. So the Blues are the best landing spot?

Maybe to the Crusaders swap for Blackadder if he takes up the Japanese offer for end of 2025.
