Are we any clearer on when the squads will be announced?

I would have thought early this week would have been ideal before the focus is solely on the AB tour.

@Bovidae A news email from the Blues on Oct 24 said this -
"We’ll have Super Rugby Aupiki draw and squad news coming out at the end of October before our Blues Men’s squad announcement in mid-November."

    • so maybe still 2 weeks away?

@Bovidae NZ Rugby does these Super Squad announcements so poorly , at least try and keep your sport front and centre of the sports news i am sure some of the big signings could have been put out there.
Its almost like we have media people from the 80s and 90s marketing the game .

Sent a message to the NZ Super teams on IG about squad announcements. Blues responded and said they're 2 weeks away.

Moli was there last season but he was injured most of the time.

I saw a Classic Sports post with this years crusaders Jersey so im assuming we're not getting new ones this year, same as 2024. A little disappointing as they felt a bit rushed, and i believe they came in late so that makes sense but though we might get something new a year down the track

Most years it's a 2 year jerseys cycle. 96, 97-99, 2000 and 2013 are the only years we didn't. Chiefs are the only exception with a different jersey in 97 compared to their 98/99.

@Yeetyaah ...not actually blaming any one for anything, i just find things like jersey design interesting, was excited to see what classic had to offer after so long with adidas phoning it in...and this years we're understandably pretty bland so had my fingers crossed

Looking at that Waratahs squad and considering their draw... I just can't see a loss on the schedule.

I'd even suggest the British Lions would be underdogs against us.
