All that time to throw an easy intercept
-
Sometimes you look at playcalls and just shake your head
3rd and 6 and Rams out of field goal range and Chicago decide to blitz the slot corner (who is up against the opposition's best receiver) whilst the other corners are playing well off their receivers
Sometimes these coaches just over think it.

That throw by Caleb at the end of regulation was insane. It'll be largely forgotten or downplayed, but it was up there with all time great plays.
Just a pity they lost after that. Do you go for 2 and try to win it all?
NFL is an elite product these days. This season and the playoffs have been epic. Only 3 games left I'm afraid

I don’t think any sport competes with the NFL in January. High stakes, High drama.
The last two weekends have been incredible.
As a long time Hawks fan, the past month has been insane, playing our NFC West rivals - and it continues this upcoming week. Rams are the team I wanted to avoid, hoping the Bears would do the job.
Looking like a group of us will be doing a day trip down on the train from Vancouver - and will enjoy the atmosphere in Seattle - 6am depart, PNW craft beers available from 9am - Long day

I'm a degenerate, but I love some outdoor, cold weather smash mouth football. It's hard to score. Defense dominates. Domes are great, but this is some old school shit I love to watch.
Nothing like watching a snow game, especially here in the northern hemisphere, game is on in the evening and the fire is roaring.
-
I wonder if Harbaugh regrets signing with the Giants now.
Mike Tomlin has said planning on taking a break from coaching, but are the bills tempting enough to change his mind? You don't often get the opportunity to take over a team with an MVP calibre QB in his prime already in place.

i tell you what though, that last pass was probably 10cm from a Miami win

Impressive turnaround from Indiana.
2 years ago were a basketcase and now this season go undefeated.
-
Fun game too. NCAA serves up excellent offense. Great to see new faces at the table - shows the playoff structure works, and that the old seedings were a bunch of Fern-level geniuses stuffed in a room picking the big names. I mean, like the All Blacks selections of 24/25
