<p>Kind of irrelevant when teams have played in different pools and different opponents. These combined type tables only serve to cloud things.</p>
<p>Yes, this year NZ have by far the strongest sides and it would be a bummer if we don't get at least 4 teams into the playoffs but the conference system is there to guarantee representation from other places regardless of relative strength.</p>
<p>Plenty of NBA and NFL sides don't make playoffs when they would be arguably stronger than sides on the other half of things.</p> -
<p>how many times do the NZ sides get to play the Sunwolves and Kings, while most SA sides get to play them twice?</p>
