Only saw 2nd half but I continue to have serious reservations about Jordan at 15.
Needs to sort out cleaning up a bouncing ball, but he gives us something Beaudy doesn’t from 15.
What is that something? I don't see it. Certainly isn't decision making.
Eh, he scores every week.

Um. Ok.

Berry getting shit, but I thought the way he reffed the breakdown suited us. Another ref might have let Ireland get more of an upper hand, as they play right to the line. Yes, he was a bit erratic, but all in all I think he was good for our play.

I was going to post the same thing. A NH ref would have likely meant the breakdown would have been even more of a free-for-all. Berry penalised players for not rolling away more than many other refs would have.

The worst set of fans I’ve ever sat amongst.
Outside the stadium in the city in a non rugby capacity, lovely people.
During a match a horrible set of bastards.
Good luck to em.Kunts.

I've met some nice ones. Clearly you struck a bad batch. Or I struck a good batch...

Start Roigard next week so we can see him against DuPont.
Antoin will be looking for an autograph.

He'll have to catch him first

That Nisbo stat is insane, he’s called 54% of all AB tests.

I don’t care if Berry is letting stuff go. Ratima needs to assert his authority.

If he tries to get too in involved , JGP scrags him. That was the forwards job to clean up his ball.

Jordie Barrett after the card was fucking good too. The dinky shit from the first half was put away and he just carried. Defended really well, and owned the kick off space. His best half hour in a while as well
-
I think I might be a bit clouded on DMac by that little fuck around with Jordan. Otherwise he kicked lots and passed in front of his forwards.
The 2nd half was so good once we went back to 15.

There's something there. He just has to shed the Harlem globetrotters shit. Of course that might be reflective of the instructions from his coaching team. Certainly the plan is not helping him execute well
-
The problem with Ratima seems to be his lack of confidence. He was hesitant to clear the ball off the rucks, something which he has never done with the Chiefs. Against a team who is systematically counter rucking, this is a big brake for the team.

What the fuck was Bundee the mouth Aki yapping about at the end to Rieko?
-
@cgrant He had to contend with some messy shite some caused by Ireland some our own doing.
He did well - the ref got his stamp on that and Roigard came on
Ratima made a few errors but by and large played the hand he was dealt as best he could@kidcalder said in All Blacks vs Ireland:

Just needs to keep doing the basics. Pick his time to do the magic. That goes for many in the backline

At the end Tosi with ball in hand and a grin.
Pure terminator. What a find.
I'll be grinning all week until I get to Paris next Friday. -

Our bench pack is getting springbok-esque. Ireland had no answer. Aside from Ratima the selectors had a good night.

The ALB sub was a black mark. Could have easily blown up in our faces
