Ashame that Finn Hurley hasn't featured for Otago.

Was looking forward to seeing him play NPC after he got injured early in Super, thought I saw him named in the squad in one of the earlier rounds but did not see him last week in Nelson. Does anyone know what his status is?

Reagrivated his Super injury prior to the season starting.

Could be available for the very end of the comp. Likely the Landers will pour cold water on that though.

Big shame. He would have carved up.

Thanks SouthernMann. Jesus, that is a damn shame. Hope he has a big 2026.

Can any Naki fans give some insight on how Poliko is performing for this year? He’s just signed a new two year contract with the Canes.

How about a form team with just a few rounds to go?

    1. Brewis

    2. Taylor

    3. Calder

    4. Timani

    5. Darry

    6. Withy

    7. Casey/Lasaqa

    8. Kellow

    9. Pledger

    10. Jacomb

    11. Springer

    12. Peni

    13. Ennor

    14. Tangitau

    15. Drew Wild

Chcukong this out there to break up the whole world is falling in we lost by 30 points chat.

Wild is my wildcard. The skinny little kid is great fun to watch. Can really go. Just a good NPC battler who can tear it up.

Plenty of other guys who could get a spot in there too. Of course all opinions are worth fuck all and selection means nothing.

@SouthernMann I think that Dylan Eti has been really impressive and could honestly be close to this list with the couple games of him that I have watched of him

That Waikato - Northland match should be a belter.

Can't wait for the finals, I've loved the NPC this year, especially enjoyed watching BoP and Otago.

@nonpartizan This Otago team seems a bloody good side, well balanced, reckon they should at least make the final.

    Finals Locked in.

    Friday: Otago v Waikato
    Saturday: BOP v Ta$man, Hawke's Bay v Taranaki
    Sunday: Canterbury v Counties

    Hard to look past Canterbury.

Canterbury will probably have Darry and McAlister back for next week.

I am happier for Waikato to be playing Otago under the roof than Canterbury in whatever conditions. The home teams should be heavy favourites in all QFs.

This year's has seen a lot of young, exciting players emerge. In a struggling team, Cohen Norrie has done very well. BOP Sinton and Lasaqa (the wing) have been exceptional, IMO. For Otago, Pledger and Casey are two of the reasons why there is a revival down South. Wrampling-Alec is a beast. He's a FAB. Is Maka, the Ta$man hooker, eligible ? He has been very good all season, which is a shame for a player like Oudenryn who has a great potential. And I also like what I saw of Aaron Cruden, this eternal youngster with class to burn.
