Black Caps vs England series

No Patel and a couple of potential debutants.

Of most interest to me will be if Young plays with KW coming back.

My first test team would be….

Latham
Conway
KW
Young
Ravindra
Mitchell
Blundell ( no one else )
Phillips
Henry
Southee
O’Rourke

If Southee doesn’t perform maybe one of the young guys gets a go.

Any idea when KJ is back ?

I can't see us taking 3.5 bowlers in to a test. Duffy or Smith in for Young.

I’m assuming Ravindra and Mitchell would turn the arm over a fair bit too but I think you’re probably right.

I was just saying the team I’d choose. I think Young will miss out and one of the new guys will make a debut

KJ still a while away. Unlikely to be back this summer is what I heard on the radio.

Should be good. Southee retiring from test cricket after this series. I wonder if he got the nod, or if he just decided for himself. Looks covered in the other thread.
