yeah he doesnt get origin, reckon the only NSW coach who probably does is Ricky, as he already thinks everyone hates him lol
-
ricky would be perfect! Textas and blokes hurting in the sheds and disrespect. Press conferences would be heaps better too.

strange old comp. in four of their last five games the Dolphins have racked up big scores, three of them above 50, and in the other they lost to Newcastle.
The Warriors are cooked. That Penrith game will be the turning point for both clubs.
Melbourne are really good. The Sharks are not.
The Titans hosting the Cowboys was low quality high scoring fun.
Im giving the wahs some hope, purely because they have been caught the last two weeks with injuries during and still stayed in the fight.
Tanah has carved up in reggies and I dont mind TMM, he cant tackle but he can attack. Coach doesnt trust him though. So Boyd probably straight in. As long as CHT is not kicking goals we still have an outside chance of decent finals. Cant see us winning anything though, mind you didnt see us in top 4 either
And hopefully Taine on the wing over DWZ and Kosi, Roger at fullback would be nice. Although I suspect Taine goes to fullback and Kosi retains his position.
We are not dead yet
So Tanah proves he is the best kicking half we have with height on bombs that make our chasing line look fast. Best improvement in that area all year. Digs into the line well. Actually gives CHT space when combining together. Sure not perfect, but his kicking game is perfect for a team that likes to play with so much structure.
DWZ and Berry are the worst at shooting out of the line and missing their intended target, often leaving each other the problem to clean up. DWZ still stands too flat and misses more opportunities than he should in attack as well. However he is a great finisher when he gets the chance. Happy Berry is out, hopefully since Ali was playing reggies he comes straight in. Or the second coming of Capewell continues
Well done Wahs, easy banana skin today and avoided it
We might win a few more games with our run home, who would have guessed
I thought Berry was supposed to be there for his defence, because it sure as hell isn't for his attacking talent. Although, his try was the most incisive he's ever run, then he went and got injured. I too hope Ali is back in.
I thought we were going to slip on the banana skin, but I think that it helps we're now seen as a good team so all of those 50/50s that used to go against us go for us now. Feels nice to be on the other side of that.
I'm worried about our run in, but that's more my pessimism due to the history of the Warriors than them this year.
What's going on with the crowds this year, last year when the team was dogshit they had sell outs, yet lots of these matches this year look to have quite a few empty seats. Have the prices gone back up to normal levels or has the hype train just naturally waned a bit as NZers have gotten used to it?

with whats happening at Newcastle this week, if the team actually like AOB then they might show up and then another banana skin waiting to happen.
Dont know about crowds but you would think they should be high still? Weather wasnt great though on the weekend
Mens team still top 4
NSW cup 12 wins in a row and winning second grade
Jersey Flegg top 8
First win for womens team. -
they sold out 5 straight games up to the Penrith game? Manly was just under that, and their average crowd for the year is just under stadium capacity?
And this only looks "bad" because last year they sold out every single home game (something no club has ever done)
Maybe take your boring repetitive "warriors hype train" whinge and jam it?

GFY, I didn't say it was bad, I was asking a genuine question because they sold out every game last year. Even in the sellouts this year there's been noticeable empty seats (they didn't look like 5 sellouts in a row on the idiot box), maybe corporate box assigned ones or no shows if the prices are still relatively cheap?

Jersey Flegg top 8
That was a crazy comeback by the Jersey Flegg team:
-
and now another banana skin, titans who should be easy beats get Des Haslers 500th game and he has just been told it will also be his final

They should've signed him for a couple more years after he got so close to the Tigers.

Well that was a very un-Wahs win. We're doing everything to win but fucking it up until a piece of individual brilliance breaks the other team's hearts.
What a run to win i though, there was a bit where he looked outside back quick.Flush that game and move on, Newcastle aimed up, and we were very scratchy. Though if Egans try is awarded perhaps it takes all their belief and we runaway with it.
This week has me super worried. This time last year the Titans gave us the worst of touch ups. Des is out, and coaching his 500th, they have nothing left to lose. I think they are broken mentally, and we should get over them, but i've seen this movie before
-
well the last weekend made my earlier post age like milk.
Manly go to Melbourne and win?
The Sharks take care of the Roosters in a 4-pointer?
The Phins put away the Cowboys? And now this week teh Roosters have to deal with Melbourne coming off a loss.
Manly play the Dogs
Phins have the bye
And the Sharks get the Rabbits' reserve grade side. -

Wasn't Leka's first ever first grade try the one where he smoked his winger on the outside, and instead of dotting down under the posts he showboated and touched down out a bit wider? The guy has power and pace that is for sure
-
yup.
and no way am i giving him a clip for it either. if my first try in the NRL was that good i would have run to the corner post and got my dick out!

Carlos did it too

Just an absolute bludger of a round bookended by two decent games.
Storm at Roosters tonight should be good. Storm haven't lost back to back for the better part of 3 seasons.
After that it gets decidedly average.
Cowboys v Dragons should be close but only because both teams suck.
Moses coming shouldn't save the Eels away to the Broncos
We're hosting a Tino-less Titans
A full strength Panthers will towel the Tigers
The Sharks should murder whatever 17 the Rabbits piece together
The Raiders will do the Knights who will be broken by last weekend.
And then we finish with the Dogs hosting Manly which will be good if last week's Manly turn up (more likely to be the other Manly though). With some short favs even a full-round multi won't pay much
-
If youre ballsy enough to back Roosters (no papi or Munster) or even the Titans, i think you could probably get odds. Wouldn't surprise me if either result happened.
Think the last match is a coin toss as well, Manly's best can win the comp, their worst though is look that reserve grade Rabbits..should be Canterbury but you never know.
The rest should be favourites easy
-
Harry Grant wow. He won that game on his own once Hughes went off and he was the only main player left in their spine.
Massive loss though Hughes. The Storm come back to the pack a bit with his injury.
-
last night might have ended both teams' season. Roosters are surely too far back now, and without Hughes Melbourne are a much worse side who you don't think will be good enough.
Great fucking game though, both teams played good footy. Yeah Grant stepped up massively.
Daniel Tupou continues to be one of the most underrated players in the comp. I'm pretty sure he's on a cheap contract. Safe under the high ball at his end. Carries out of his end hard. Plays the ball quick. A massive threat in the air at the other end. And is now the 5th all time try scorer in the NRL.
