Agree with the rest of your post, but there's no way Webby dumps CNK, he seems to be his number 1 pick on the sheet.

i completely agree. And he'll have a few games where his yards will look great in a win, and he'll make all those passionate faces and people will love him.
Overlooking the emptiness of those yardage stats. Non-existent ball playing, a net negative in our over all attack, slug speed, and constantly being caught out of position, or too slow to get to position.

you forgot most injury prone as well
Souths picked up Moala Graham-Taufa so that doesnt help either..just hope ali leiataua can stay injury free and win the place just on merit

Thought I'd stumbled back into an AB thread, and was going to say that it's a bit harsh to say Ardie has slug speed

If we pick Capewell at centre again next year I'm going find a mild mannered unexcitable soft spoken almost ginga Australian and kick him in the chops.

He was in the crowd for the State Championship game. He was sitting with the owner of the club. I hope he learned something and packs the first grade team with lots of young talent. These boys will play hard for the jersey. They just need some of the senior pros to guide them. Ownership will find the wage bill more agreeable too

DCE was the easy scapegoat this year, but i think Manly fans are about to face the reality that he was not only not the problem, but at the heart of most of what went right for them.
Without him, they will rely on an enormous number of pea hearts and injury prone players. With a highly suspect coach.

@mariner4life Forward pack apart from Haumole isn't much chop either and both Jurbo and Taukeiaho are past it.
Coach is mediocre and the front office is a shit show.

their middle rotation is very ordinary. Tommy Turbo can only play a max of 13 games. And he might not even be there if the rumours are true.

Still feel this game will come down to late momentum. We look marginally better but they’ve had little ball.
