    @JK First time ever that Shore have won a 3-peat, and they're now just the second club to win more than 2 in a row - Takapuna did that in 1994-2000 and 2006-2009. The beginning of a new dynasty perhaps?

    I think so.

    My kids play for Shore, but I’m still 100% a northcote supporter. At least they aren’t playing for Taka!!

    40 year old Joe Royal captained Ponsonby to our 49th Auckland championship and his own 8th. A great achievement today with only 8 returning players that played in last seasons final winning side.
    Ponies scored twice in the first 7 minutes but a tough Marist side hung in there and scored with 90 seconds remaining to have a chance of snatching it.
    Final score 27-21.

    Marist led at HT playing with the wind behind them but Hautapu scored twice to get back to 22-21 midway through the 2nd half.
