Black Caps struggling against Sri Lanka.

Ravindra fails again on home soil, do we just pick him outside NZ? His record in NZ must be dire at this point.

Just pick the young fulla instead of a journeyman like Chapman

    A missed opportunity

44/3 off 7.2 overs. BCs going at a snails pace.

2 absurd reviews for runouts. Are umpires not allowed to make decisions on runouts any more?

    Good review for LBW though.

Whilst the pitch doesn't look easy - this looks a fairly one sided contest

Mitchell and Michael Bracewell starting to fire some shots. Surprised Beast hasn’t played more for NZ, if he gets going he’s one of the most explosive t20 players to watch with the bat.

BCs rocketed up to 131/5 off 15.4 overs. Bracewell and Mitchell going very well now. Run rate up to 8.84

I think he's wasted a bit at seven. I understand the rationale of having him as a hitter from ball one as a finisher. But, there is no way he should bat below Mitch Hay amongst others

I wouldn’t mind seeing Bracewell open instead of Ravindra. He was very good there a few years back for Wellington when they won the Super Smash. Ravindra doesn’t suit opening IMO.

Excellent final over but at least Black Caps have given themselves a chance here. Take a bow Mitchell and Bracewell

Good recovery. If it's close that brilliant last over could be crucial. Masterful last over from a spin er.

All a bit easy for Sri Lanka. Missed the start of our innings - were conditions much tougher?

I'm a bit sceptical when I see a scorecard like our innings - the lower order cashing in can often be a sign that the top order bungled things, rather than a miraculous recovery than saves the game.

Missed our innings, Sri Lanka looking pretty damn untroubled so far.

78 from 60 should be a piece of piss.

Santner on though, he’s made things happen lately.

Bit of a limp wristed performance. Visiting team, and we can't even take a bloody wicket. Weird Santner hasn't used Phillips

Why do they insist on trying to bounce these guys out? Bowl some yorkers!
