Bugger. Crossed musical genres with ease and was the soundtrack of many late nights with the missus and a bottle of single malt.

    And what a trouper...

In 1958, she married John Dankworth. The couple had two children together. They were married until his death in 2010. On that day, Laine performed at a concert at The Stables to mark the venue's 40th anniversary. She then announced Dankworth's death at the end of the show.

Chuck Mangione, 'Feels So Good' musician and bandleader, dead at 84

"Feels So Good" reached No. 4 on the Billboard singles chart in 1977.

Chuck was certainly no Ozzy Osbourne or Hulk Hogan but I did like that cheesy tune he did, ‘Feels so good’ awesome piece of music

Definitely my favourite flugelhorn player of all time.

    RIP

Highly successful in business, I remember his funny ads which he fronted back in the day, they were as iconic to me as the LV Martin ads used to be

I have a faint memory reading years ago that he worshipped the devil. Talked about how it would make him rich.

I can't seem to find any reference to it now though.

Bob Simpson. Former Australian opener and coach, who turned Australia from a nation that hadn't won a test in four years into the unstoppable force they became from Border onwards.
