His France captain Jean-Pierre Rives described him as a back who played ‘with the mentality of a forward’, never giving any quarter

"Ding Dong" sounds like a bit of a legend.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/360847452/police-ten-7-host-graham-bell-dies

Have met a number of people who worked with him, apparently really tough, old school and no nonsense. He appeared to have a lot of fun when making that show, always came up with entertaining descriptions of offenders !

    RIP.

Yeah have become more familiar with his work since his passing, very sad loss.

She was great value in a couple of Woody Allen comedies in the 70s, Sleeper and Love and Death. Happy memories as a kid laughing that those flicks.

    RIP.

Underrated as an actress I feel. She was very good in the Godfather films and her acting in the courtroom scene in Godfather 2 was brilliant and without saying a word.

Former Prime Minister Jim Bolger dies aged 90

A pragmatist who disliked being called a pragmatist, Bolger led the country through a tumultuous '90s and the first MMP government.

Ace Frehley, founding guitarist for KISS, dead at 74

Ace Frehley, the founding guitarist for the rock band KISS, has died at age 74.

They were a fun band and he was part of some really good 70s rock.

What I really liked about them was every single member had a turn at singing lead vocals. Decent guitarist and the makeup and stage presence made him a genuine rock icon.

    RIP.

I saw the original band back in 2000 when I lived in the US. It was the Farewell Tour. 🤣

Then saw them in NZ 15 years later (sans Ace and Peter). Gene and Paul are still milking the KISS cash-cow.

Gene Simmons has said he'd be happy for the Kiss "brand" to continue in a shape or form once all the original members are too old to perform ( or dead ).

I always thought that was pretty cool of him, especially coming from someone with an ego like his.
