Scots will be wanting to use the home ground to their advantage as best they can to avoid 11 straight losses to Ireland.

Interesting that they made three changes to a winning team.

Backs like Kinghorn, Graham, VDM and Russell will want to make a big statement with a Lions tour coming up. Fagerson ( hehe ) brothers too.

    Ireland by 10.

Roman O'Gara getting tetchy on the pre-game BBC pundits sofa telling Gabby Logan that she is obsessed with players' ages. A good thing that Martin Johnson is there to calm it all down.

Didn't catch that but thought the bit I did see with ROG he was great value.

Butler in the crowd, Hoy bringing the ball on. MN5 will need several boxes of tissues.

Big cheers for Sir Chris Hoy who has terminal cancer bringing on the match ball.

Murrayfield is a great stadium and always puts on a show. Let's hope the game itself lives up to that.

Player had stopped, offside, a couple of metres away from the ball catcher. Textbook for what they're supposed to be clamping down on. We constantly say players should take the contact if the ref won't call it, then when they do, we say it's dumb?

Andrew Cotter apologises for not knowing player X wears contact lenses or not. I doubt other commentators would even think about it.

    Best around at the moment.
