Yes we started jacking it after being successful in the first half of playing outside in.

Fucking dumb. Once you get ahead just keep racking up the twos. Most teams in this league aren't good enough from 3 to catch up easily

Shared a flight from Perth to Sydney with the Hawks. Javale is a pretty big unit up close. At least he got to ride up the front of the bus though (even if he stood up most of the way) - the poor white C had to sit in the Economy exit row

The Breakers hand the Hawks a 42 point pumping, they really like this match up. Menenga and Lopez killed it inside, JPC pulled the strings well and didn't have to push his own offense, the two new imports showed up and NZB had 5 or 6 players in double figures. Loved the way they played, strong D, focussing on points in the paint and transition offense

@voodoo yeah JaVale is a genuine 7 footer. Pretty amazing how athletic he is

We came locked in last night. Started really well on the defensive end and rebounding. Our starting lineup is better with the size and having Ruben come off the bench. Lopez is really rounding out his game. Should be a first round pick in the draft next year.

Whilst we played well, something is smelly in Illawarra. Saw guys giving up in that 3rd and 4th quarters. Offence sucked when they didn’t run the ball through JaVale. Tough times ahead I think for the champs.

@mariner4life dare to believe? Up 9 in Tassie with 1:39 to go in the 4th.

Breakers just put 68 on the Bullets in the first half. I still wouldn't put money on the Breakers to win at 68-36, they just choked far too many times this season from potential winning positions to be able to trust them

Only downside of the game was losing the 4th quarter. We were on track to winning 8 straight quarters in the Ignite Cup.

There was another lowlight and that was Prather getting injured. He’s been awesome so far this season in an up and down team.

@canefan we did clear the bench and give some of our young fellas a run and only lost it by 3 points.

But generally it’s been our final 5 minutes of games that has cost us at least 3 or 4 games this season.
