We play like the basics don't matter to us
That is at the heart of the problem. The McCaw era ABs made sure they executed the basics to a high standard. These guys don't, and don't even seem to try. Without exaggerating it feels like we would made 20, even 30 simple errors in the match.

We don’t do cut throat anymore.
Coaches should fear being sacked mid RWC cycle. We don’t do it.
Players should fear being dropped. We don’t do it.
Players with hot hand should be rewarded. We don’t do it.
Refs should fear hatcheting us as our fans media and coaches will lash them out of it. We don’t do it.
We have lost our edge.

Could win them all too. There is little to no gap between the 4 teams. It is whoever plays best on the day.

Argentina were good, absolutely not taking anything away from them, but that game was there for us to win. Utterly incompetent performance. Disappointing all around.

Also, SBarret is not an AB captains asshole. Should never have made him captain when it wasn't even clear he was the best lock in the country. Stupid decision.

Don't think I've seen a worse performance under the high ball since sliced bread, which was a pretty bad catcher.

I don’t know. Henry completely changed his back 3 because of high ball weakness. But ABs look v vulnerable under the contestable high ball and the Boks will be licking their lips on that.

Why shouldn’t it be Savea? Some of our best performances under Razor have been when Ardie’s been skip.
