47-3. Spanish team look out on their feet.
-
NZ down to 13. Leta-Inga has walked off.
-
Apparently playing against only 13 makes it easier for Spain.
This commentary team are full of sharp insights.
-
"The Spanish team and their fans have added to this occasion."
Without them it would an unopposed training run and not a rugby match I suppose.
-
Good work by the NZ heavies to suck in defenders and Setefano scores.
50 up.
-
Five minutes left. Credit to the crowd for not heading to the car park yet. I would.
-
Great counter rucking by the Spanish half back. Saved a near certain try.
-
Apparently scoring against 13 players when you have 15 and are 50 points down is massive.
-
What looked like a bad injury for Olsen-Baker and some handling that reeked of jet lag, but a decent hit out otherwise for the BFs.
They looked super organised and composed, even if some of the execution wasn't quite there.
Jorja Miller in the first 20 minutes looked different gravy.

After the final whistle:
"The score may be 54-8 but Spain pushed them all the way"
-
I haven't seen a celebration like this from a losing Rugby team since the English men at Old Trafford in 1997.

@booboo Okay, bad choice of words. Feeding the scrum is the Half Back's job.
She was in breach of Law 19.15 f. You can't throw it straight to your Lock.

Brazier is more impotent and pointless now than she was a decade ago. She really screams "amateur era".
Having now watched the game, all she offers now is as a passer. Absolutely no threat to run. Telling also that Holmes can kick further with her left foot than Brazier does off her right.
The loose forwards were all impressive. Miller might be better in the midfield with more space.
A shame about Olsen-Baker. Mia Anderson or Taufa Bason will be next in line.
