No they had tremendous help from the ref though.
France were France in the 2nd half kinda just tailed off and their energy levels went. -

Have to say, England have been pretty woeful in this tournament in comparison to how they've played in recent years. The back line look jumpy and are throwing rubbish attempts at miracle offloads, forwards are standing in passing lanes etc. The forwards themselves are bigger and more powerful than most other teams and that and some moments of individual magic from the backs, has carried them through this tournament. Based on what we see from Canada I don't see how England win on Saturday without something clicking.

Canada are a good team but they're going to struggle with England's forward pack cohesion.
If they can create some mismatches they might have a chance, but this is England's to lose.
