@canefan Or First All Blacks coach to fail to get out of a World Cup pool?

Given there's an extra knockout round before the quarter finals at the next RWC first AB coach to not reach the quarter finals is on the cards.

First back-to-back losses to Argentina in All Blacks history
Following the 38–30 home loss to Argentina on August 10, 2024 (in Wellington), the 29–23 defeat in Buenos Aires on August 23, 2025, marked the first time New Zealand lost consecutive Tests to the Pumas.

I'm not sure this is correct

ABs won test match 1 vs Argies this year? Samisoni late maul tries?

    I don’t double check AI.

Just try not to think about all the software being written without checking as well 🙂

I would never trust AI for facts and stats. It'll constantly get things wrong but you never know what.

Tries to sound convincing but makes up stuff and confuses fact with fiction, memory with paranoia, and investigation with conspiracy? Then it is redundant. The Fern does that already!

Negative. WE beat them the weekend before on the 16th, so this one isn't correct.

The ones that are correct are bad enough to ignore the AI hallucinations.

Have to shake you head at LLMs at times.

Good and moral rugby clubs in NZ:

    Takapuna - my club

    North Shore - Respected opponents.

Mahurangi - Where I live in NZ now, and great guys all round.

Ponsonby - Where my brother played U19s rugby and scored a few tries in the Auckland competition.

If you're prepared to do the work and add in this year's efforts, I found some stuff here yesterday: https://www.rugbyhistory.co.nz/historical-results

For example, by my calculations, and with a game to fix it to some extent, this year's average points difference per game is the worst since 1976, currently sitting at 4.59.

Following the Wales match, they’ve ended the year on +6.23, the worst since 1998.
