Great effort from McCartney.

Still a real medal chance
-

Bronze!!!!!!!!

That is a fantastic effort.

Can't ask for more than that: 19, equals her PB.

-

Yessssssss
Bronze.
-

Awesome result!!

Well done Eliza, that was great to watch.
Great to see someone enjoying themselves so much.

This was meant to be her trial run for the 2020 Olympics. Helluva effort.

-

she looks so relaxed, smiling rather than the intense scowl most have

-

Am I allowed to mention she's also a bit hot?

-

So hot! And a bronze! What a fucking champ! Best olympics ever
-

The Greek can't clear 4.90. Neither can the Yank. 4.85m on first or 2nd attempt and we would have had gold.

5cm never seemed so big a distance!

-

that Greek chick looked like she coulda cleared 5m on one of her jumps too.

That is an outstanding rise for Eliza, 19, super talented, hot....man we have some amazing women athletes in NZ at the moment.

Some of the dudes are good too, but not as easy on the eye!

Dam Bolt!!

That last 40m he owned everyone

Jamaica - Japan - USA

Damn Bolt is from another planet. Utterly absurd.

She's saved energy by clearing first each time. But that Greek and the American look to me like they can go higher.

Yeah - I was thinking that too. The Aussie was getting good height above the bar on some of her earlier jumps even though she'd never done 4.85 - I was thinking she could fluke it.

Some good luck there with the big favorites crashing out - to offset a few bits of bad luck here and there.

Great result - well done!

What happened in the relay? Did bolt have work to do?
-

they were all pretty even with 100 to go, but at about 40m he put on the afterburners and at 60m he was well clear.

The womens 5000m, the last 400m was about 65seconds, they are rapid!

Yeah the Jamaicans were challenged, neck and neck with Japan and USA at the last change. Everyone else was close, too.

Bolt put 5+ metres on them at the finish
