@stargazer said in Olympics Thread: Sophie Pascoe finished second in her heat. The Women's 100m Breaststroke SB8 Final is at 10.40pm tonight. I was reading that the tactic was to just qualify for the final and not expend too much energy trying to win her heat.

@stargazer It's more about how the classification can change when the athlete's disability hasn't. I know that matching the athlete's ability to swim won't be an exact science. Pascoe used to be an SB9 in the breaststroke but is now an SB8.
