@canefan any idea who designs ours? Wondering if there is a crossover with yachts, kayaks etc in terms of lightweight and aerodynamic design. Probably a no.8 expense compared to other nations. Interesting that murica don't try as hard with track cycling

We can’t finish behind Ireland on the table. They only passionately follow 3 sports. Gaelic football which is Aussie rules with a soccer ball. Hurling which is Aussie rules with a hockey stick. And English football involving Liverpool or Man U. These sports are generally enjoyed at the pub with a pint of Guinness. We are more sporty than them!

I'm watching the hurdles and Andrew Cotter is commentating. Adds colour and gives an ignoramus like me a good understanding of how runners can fuck up a hurdle. Is there no sport this bloke isn't brilliant at?
