Bit of a dodgy tighthead with Cane hooking in the tunnel - but it was a shambles of a scrum from Australia. -
Fuck. Usually you can point out a a weakness or two in a game and yell for a change of personnel or coaching staff. Not this time. Only watched the first half and I am almost sure my club side today could have given a better run for their money. <br><br>
There is absolutely nothing to lose from now on, so I would suggest maybe bringing those young guns, Hodge, Kerevi and Timani in to the 23 and dropping either of the hobbits from the back row to get some size in the side.<br><br>

Thought Cane warmed into the game, the motor on him is almost as good as Richie. Made some great carries too.<br><br>
Dagg had a poor game for him, seemed just one of those days when things would just go wrong.<br><br>
Thought Fekitoa was MUCH better. His defence was exceptional, made a few errors with the ball as usual but also handled it a lot more I thought and made a lot more good decisions than usual. Showed quite a few nice touches I thought, in a few scoring movements.</p>

<p>Not necessarily a Fekitoa fan but tonight he did the business and the reason Kuridrani was shite was because the pressure place on him by Fekitoa .... and others. </p>

<p>The Aussies were awful. When I saw the pack that they named their was nothing to fear. It had no resemblance to the packs that the Tahs have put up recently that had a bit of bash to them. Why is Simmons still being selected? Surely one of those Brumbies locks could produce more. I would put in Skelton for 40 just for a bit of mongrel and mass. Their back three were dominated and we cleaned then out before they had a sniff at a turnover. The 2 7's experiment is a bust. They need a real 6 in place to add some physicality. Possibly time to start rebuilding for the future because there is little future in the players they have.</p>

<p>Hilarity. Me favourite part was the rugby we played straight after halftime. We didn't score, but it looked like we were playing a club side we were that dominant.<br><br>
Aus were shit, hampered by injury, passive, and the imports added nothing. Their vaunted flankers are shit as well. What the fuck do the do next week? Quade and Palu? They've got fuck all.<br><br>
Us not perfect. Dagg and fekitoa carried on their form of the last month. Subs didn't have their usual impact, and we let that rabble score.<br><br>

Wondering if Barrett played the whole game at #10 (with Crotty at 12) - and he continued in the way he started would we be thinking of his performance in the same realm as DC circa 2005? admittedly against a shitter opposition last night - but that was a great first 40min...</p>

The only negative for me , I'm concerned for the state of international rugby if this starts becoming the norm, we play them more than anyone . <br><br>
its funny , I remember back in the late 90s early 2000s and I was wanting the old days to return when we used to beat them with ease. . <br><br>

<p>Yeah I got this feeling as well, normally I'm pretty emphatic after that sort of performance but that sort of loss was had me a little flat, I'm worried what SA will bring to the table too now with the transformation influence. </p>
