Lakai was getting stuck in.
We can all see that our attack was rubbish. We literally give up at times and it results in a hope and hoist or low percentage cross kick by BB.
Ironically we have more attack runners than we have had in a long time but are using them ineffectively. Players like Sami, Williams, Vaai, Sititi, Lakai, Savea, Roigard, DMac, Jordan, Clarke are all good runners.
Send in Mauss to give Razor the heads up.

Defence, scrum, high ball, kicking game, ruck work, ball carrying, midfield all massive concerns. Scrum, high ball, ruck, defence could be helped by specialist coaches, but need better selections too. Ellison is fucking shithouse and needs to go ASAP. We don't have a specialist scrum coach, IIRC.
Does Robertson go back to what he knows best and double down on Crusaders players? He will have his great hope, Mounga, returning ...

I agree with all that but compared with Fosters era we do have a forward pack that can compete with anyone.
Not having Lomax, Holland, Vaai and Roigard's injury hindered us a bit this time and the leadership / game plan was shit.
There's a top down problem here.
I for one thought we had solved it post 2023. It's gonna be a rocky road.

Once Cam Roigard went off our kicking game was appalling. Without him, our kicking game is comfortably the worst of all the Tier One teams.
We must play players who can kick astutely and accurately at 9. We need to find better tactical kickers at 10. Our midfield needs to be coached how to kick.
Roigard's first half performance probably stopped England scoring 50 points against us. That is not far from the truth.
