Set a maximum size of ingoal. End of the day after that you're both playing on the same field.

Good game to watch. While I was a little disappointed for a few minutes at losing, when I consider the huge turnaround from 57 - 0 I feel a lot better.
If they BUILD on this we might actually be a challenger next year.
Forwards were excellent today. Only Ruan Dreyers scrummaging let us down. Wilco Louw looked an improvement and could challenge Malherbe when he returns.
The backs are still a letdown. I've said since start of TRC that Serfontein is the only good thing in that backline. I'm now willing to give Kriel an opportunity to build on his performances as well. But the rest needs an overhaul IMO.
Jantjies is just never going to cut it. Gots ta go. Love watching him play for the Lions but he's not snappy enough and can't eliminate the errors to be playing for the Springboks.
Not sure what to do at scrumhalf. Cronjé till someone better comes along.
Warrick Gelant should be Springbok fullback with a pair of better wingers.
9 ?
10 Handré Pollard
11 S'bu Nkosi???
12 Jan Serfontein
13 EW Viljoen
14 ???
15 Warrick GelantSort the backline out and keep them playing with that sort of intent and we can resume "rugbys greatest rivalry"

While I think it's an odd time to start complaining about scoring against the goal posts....
I've long thought the posts should be on the dead ball line rather. Safety reasons obviously, but you're also narrowing the part of the field penalties can be taken from which is good considering how far some of the guys can kick it nowadays.
Have the posts at the dead ball line the way they do with American football.

The Chiefs shouldn't have any problem in South Africa the next two weeks with the Stormers & Cheetahs being their opponents.
Wouldn't put the house on it. The Stormers are more of an unknown then people probably know. Not very safe going against an unbeaten team - sometimes they just find a team to win, and it's not like the Stormers haven't got the players.
-
Bit late for Sacred Heart & St. Peter's scores but Paarl Boys High put up cricket scores against Gisborne. Really taken over from Grey College as the genuine superpower school in South Africa and look on track to go unbeaten this year as well if the strength of their 1st and 2nds is anything to go by
-
The rain Gods owe us big time. Entertaining series fellas. Maybe next time
-
Go back to Super 12.
Bring back the Cats (or a draft system for the Cheetahs). Lions would have a Springbok worthy starting-midfield if they could pick up Francois Venter.
Move the Brumbies to Melbourne. Rugby a dying game in Australia and they need the exposure in a bigger city.

SA Government fights to keep Kings
Hopefully NZ continues playing hardball because the stupidity of potentially dropping the Cheetahs while retaining the EP Kings seems proposterous.
On the other side I've got my eye on Perth and my own selfishness would prefer they kept all 18 sides if the Force were to be the side that makes way (as stated in the article)

Stormers needed brawn to get them home in the end. Embarrassing more then anything I'd say even if they did win by 13 (so not to ruin everyone's multi's). Handful of good performances thrown in alongside terrible ball handling, shocking defence by Bulls imports Kriel & Basson and nothing innovative to show us they will compete against better sides.
Pick-and-go won't work against anybody else except maybe the Kings. Really embarrassed to have watched that and I look forward to the Lions giving me some faith in SA rugby again later on.

Sanzar deserve a bullet.
Japanese TMO says "not offside" "can award a try" in broken English to an Argentinian whose English isn't much better. Referee says "okay no try".
Idiotic at best
-
Referee wastes another 2 minutes checking a contest in the air. Nothing comes of it.
Feels like I'm watching an NFL game with all these stoppages
-
Sunwolves in again from their own half! Leading 31 - 20.
And Bjorn Basson showing us why EVEN THE BULLS didn't want him anymore.
-
I don't know. It's entertaining but the quality looks pretty poor to me. Worst I've seen the Stormers defend all season. I mean Robert du Preez is nearly 1.9m, had tons of time and the touch line to push him into touch and didn't nearly manage it.
If the Stormers were playing the Chiefs it'd be 27 - 0 to the Chiefs.
Knocked the ball on 3 times in a row leading up to that Sunwolves try... and then knock on AGAIN immediately after the restart. Atrocious. I think people are just excited to see the Sunwolves actually do something.

Come on Stormers! Don't give the Sunwolves a justification for their presence in Super Rugby!
Stormers didn't pick a team to demolish them unfortunately. Will be another case of sneaking across the line by the look of it
-
I've had it with these 3 minute TMO reviews. Can understand why people aren't interested in watching.
-
I apologise for the refereeing.
Don't think Abel threw more than 2 line-outs straight all night either.

That did not look like a try.
Come on! The game was well and truly over and Paige hasn't scored a try in well over a decade (I'm serious)
-
Strauss has let us know that the Bulls have a plan for winning this game. It ALMOST paid off against the Sunwolves
but will come together this weekend. Yep. He said it not me. I suppose you can't expect much from them when the Springboks and Blue Bulls go hand in hand.

@cheetahsBO Damn, that's a lot players coming out!
I think they use 2nd XV players on the bench so yeah 70 odd players plus a whole lot of parents.
-
They are touring yes. Their 1st XV haven't lost in a couple of years and their U16 sides have also been good the past couple years so expect a strong side.
