Robertson to up ante on selecting overseas players for All Blacks

The All Blacks coach, reflecting on his first year in charge, said he will make a submission to the NZ Rugby board about changing the selection criteria.

I think I've been had. I'm already very bearish on next season if that's how he feels. Perhaps the SuperCoach should just select good players and coach, instead of fapping over guys that chose to leave?

Fuck no I am dead against picking overseas players.It will be the death nail of our competitions imo.
If players want to come back no problems but play in our competitions to be selected.
It sounds like Razor wants to keep Cane ffs.
Stupid idea Razor get your shit together and promote the players we have playing locally and players who return to play locally.

But a worry some others did not stand up under pressure.

Absolutely Gutted losing Symo,I coached with him with the Qld u/19s squad for 3 seasons.
Great bloke sad sad day.He could tell a great tale the big fella.

Finau for a big unit really added no impact in this game,He was passive in the tackle he got knocked back a few times.And went no where forward.
Even though Vai'i maybe found out as a bit slow at 6 in the harder games, he was 100% better than Finau.

What I can tell you is When the Gabba test was on we get allocated a test player to come to the Queensland under 19 training,As we were preparing the team for the National championships in Adelaide we requested a batsmen for a Spin session we were running due to playing in Adelaide were spin is quite dominant.
Andrew McDonald came down with Travis Head who Andrew told us was the best player of Spin in the test squad.And he was excellent in helping develop plans to play spin in Adelaide.Worked well I must add as we made the Final but did lose the Final to NSW Metro.
Marnus and Uzzie came down being Qld boys and helped out as well, they also said Travis was the man for the spin sessions..
Travis Head coming from South Australia was bought up playing spin.
talking to the Qld bulls spinners Mitch etc they say he is one of the better players of Spin.
So I only know what I see and opinions of people in the Australian cricket system.Not so much what is said on podcasts.

England are very good side.

All the talk of Roigard I just hope he comes back well from that nasty injury, some players never come back the same they lose pace and flexibility from that injury or take a long time to reach their pre injury form.

Hotham,Darry,Tosi,Sititi,Procter and Bell has been solid looks great for our depth going forward.

Yeah we are not going to lose the Bledisloe ,short memories the Aussies got pumped by SA at home 33-7 and 30-12 with 2 different teams the Saffers fielded then Aussies had 60 points put on them by the Argies.
We lost 2 close games v SA in SA and could have won both ,a few panic merchants on here .
we have blooded a lot of players and are nearly 4 years away from a WC and some people are saying we won't get out of our pool at the WC.

and history for our boys how good.

Big worry for me is Foster has no idea as an attack coach
We are floundering getting much gain at the advantage line and I dont see what we are trying to achieve with the ball in hand at times.

I am inclined to think our forward play has dropped off since SA teams are no longer in the comp.
They gave a point of difference in SR,Australia play similar to us so it’s same all the time.
Our SR teams don’t have the big hard SA packs to play against anymore.

Sure they didn’t always get the results but the SA teams many times had to go on 4 or 5 week tours to NZ and Australia which took it toll.
My opinion the SR comp is worse off without SA.
