Agree Laidlaw will probably be conservative. Losing Godfrey is a real shame. The successful spine of the Canes backline became Roigard, Love, Harkin but Laidlaw went away from that in what proved to be the last game of the season.

I'd be happy with Roigard, Love in the halves, Higgins and Proctor in the midfield and a back three of 11. Fineanganofo, Moorby and Barrett to start the season. Naholo out for the start of the campaign.

That's looks great, but we need to find room for Harkin, he seems to spark a lot of our attack.
I think both Harkin and Fineanganofo are very underrated.

This ref is actually very good, can we just get rid of the TMO and accept that the on field refs will get a few decisions wrong.

Love needs game time and was looking good, so we take him off....

I think Kirifi will do fine, he is not the answer at 7, but he will put in the work.

With both Leon and Holland quitting, which I don't think we have seen before, there has to be something going on.
Wonder if either or someone else involved will ever spill the beans.

Whatever is going on, obviously something has to change, but we all know after 2 years of this crap, nothing is going to change.

On form S Barrett is a world class lock, but we haven't seen it for awhile. I'm ok with him playing, but if doesn't perform, then it has to be time to look at other options, as the other locks are looking better than him now.
ALB is a bit of a joke, my memories of now are coming on and getting carded, I understand we need coverage at 12, but there has to be a better solution. If he comes on, tries too hard and gives away a card again then he has to go.
I would keep developing LF at 13, he is the only 13 in recent memory to look threatening. Line breaks at 13 have been very few and far between. Procter was the form Super player at 13, but it has not translated to test for some reason.
Otherwise I think its about the team we all expected.

Comical how a short clip of a few guys practicing offloads is getting people so worked up.

If someone leaves and comes back really just for the world cup, is clearly No1, helps us the world cup.
I think I am ok with that. In fact I'd buy the guy a beer for winning the world cup for us.
