Never like to criticise these young guys too much but replacement tight head Dane Johnson seemed like a penalty magnet all tournament. I believe he's eligible next year so he will need to bulk up a bit. Hopefully this will be a good learning curve

No room for prop Brad Chrichton either . I assume front rowers josh Southall and Iona Apineru are both injured as haven't seen their names in club rugby this year. Both converted loosies

Am surprised loose forward Jeremiah Avei Collins missed out, as he looks a real talent . Also a couple of Japanese imports there as well

Great effort to make the final after struggling in that opening game against Italy. We missed 28 tackles on the first half today also

@Mr-Fish I don't think there is a solution to be honest. I liked when Graham Henry was AB coach ,when the AB coaches would have some input into the super team squad selections. This was when the crusaders were stockpiling first fives, to ensure the talent was spread around evenly.

@KiwiMurph And therein lies the whole problem with our super rugby contracting. The best 15 hookers in the country won't be selected for 2026. Also factor in that new talent will emerge from the NPC this year who also won't get a look in ,as the super rosters are pretty much full up already
