Thanks All Blacks for a great final.

The current Springboks isnt just a team but rather a squad. No Bok squad come close to the current Springbok squad, maybe individual players but not as a team.

I would give all the credit to Rassie. Remember he took over in 2018 when we were at our lowest rankings and won the WC a year later. His biggest skill is his out of the box thinking. He always surprise and love challenging just about everything. He dont select players just based on his rugby skills but look at his personality and background.

Rugby grow in South Africa like never before.

In SA we only got TV in the 70s and following live matches on radio. We had a deaf cousin who was an excellent rugby player (full back) who would came to us with the live matches. My dad use to draw a rugby field on an A4 paper and indicate with the pen as the game continue. I remember when our team (WP & Springbokke) would come close to scoring and the cousin would watch us and jump for joy with us as the try was scored. Being deaf he was hard as a rock and sometimes tackle after the whistle had been blown ended up in a fight.

Myself also followed cricket tests on radio when the Proteas toured Australia from 02h00 in the morning.

Weather is great at the most southern tip of Africa. Braai on the deck.

Great win by the Proteas. Always good to get one over Australia. This will put the Proteas next to Springbok rugby in South Africa. Our cricket has suffer long enough.

Congrats to the All Blacks and Foster. By far the better team. Our defense and aerial game not even close to last week.

The morning after starts with a moerse head ache.

PSdT was massive. Although Fourie struggled with his line out throwing, to be 37 years old, nearly starting as nr2 and even captain the Springboks in a WC final, played like a foks terrier. For the All Blacks I thought Retallick was huge.

@Stargazer pretty happy Stormers supporter. Credit to our coach he have been through the worst of politics and still keep coming up trumps

The tackle on Kolisi was just unfortunate. Its rugby FFS. Its not the end of the world and maybe a good thing that he can rest for the more serious rugby ahead. I enjoy the Canes solid defense all game.

Stormers have enough depth to go full steam ahead.

Leinster using different teams caught up on them. Their A team was rusty while their B team lost to the Bulls and Scarlets.

@Steve sorry Boet, that lot will get drunk on vuil (brandy)coke tonight.

@Duluth He is a very talented 10. Played most of his Stormers rugby in 12 when Willemse isnt around. 10 is best position and will try and dominate by foot and ball. Also captained the SA u20 team. Sort of Damian Willemse player but a very good place kicker.
