REVELATIONS LE CORRESPONDANT. Non, Imane Khelif n’a pas été injustement accusée d’être un homme. Comme Le Correspondant s’en est fait l’écho…

‘No beating around the bush’ from the article

    Well played that man

Looking forward to the apologies, stripping of the medal, and the lawsuits.

Blind Pew could see this coming.

Yes, a male with DSD, which is what every reputable expert like Emma Hilton were saying. There has to be consequences for the people that enabled this to happen, it's not a super complicated topic and there was no shortage of experts that were willing to help the IOC understand the issue.

I wouldn't hold your breath, its the same issue as Semenya and they're still trying to find a way for him to compete, yes there's the added issue of a man beating up a woman in this case but other than bad PR, I don't see why the IOC would react differently

A step in the right direction, about damn time: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/534431/puberty-blockers-ministry-of-health-releases-long-awaited-evidence-brief

I'd still love to see prosecutions down the line.

    Less enthused after skimming it...
Bugger all data supporting the use of puberty blockers, no reliable data.
So why the hell has this experiment been allowed to occur?..and with other countries now nearly outright banning it, why don't we follow suit?

In the UK it was pushed by the medical establishment. Even after an exhaustive, peer-review study came out against Puberty Blockers, the British Medial Association rejected the report calling its conclusions "unsubstantiated"

There has been a case at the Supreme Court in London over the last two days about the definition of woman and the consequences, the world has gone mental

In one of the many highlights, alongside the Scottish Government KC suggesting she needed a flow chart to answer a question about male access to a certain space and therefore didn’t know the answer, was when the same KC suggested it would be considered discrimination were a transwoman to be denied access to a cervical smear…

In more positive news, I was watching netball with my 12 year old daughter last night and I mentioned the winner of the bbc football bollocks, and without prompting she turned to me and said, “it’s so stupid and so unfair, I don’t care how they dress or how they behave, but boys are stronger than girls, they shouldn’t be allowed in girls sport, or in our toilets and changing rooms”

My heart sang. What a little legend

@taniwharugby what achievement? Get the mental health care you so desperately need instead of stealing from women.

@antipodean I remember when Michelle Wie was a star of Womans golf, and in what can only be described as a publicity stunt, competed on the Mens Tour, made 1 cut in numerous starts.

Obviously this 'Hailey' must still be a good player in 'her' own right, but also, obviously not good enough to foot it in the right field.

Ban on puberty blockers to be made indefinite on experts’ advice

Existing emergency measures banning the sale and supply of puberty-suppressing hormones will be made indefinite, following official advice from medical experts.

Former trans charity boss to defy ban on puberty blockers

Anne Trans Healthcare, which was set up by Susie Green, former head of Mermaids, says it will continue to offer ‘legal’ ways to access the drugs

"An organisation led by the former chief executive of the transgender support charity Mermaids has vowed to keep on helping children get access to puberty blockers, despite a permanent UK ban."

"Patients aged under 18 need the support of a parent, carer or guardian to access Anne’s services, with a “standard youth membership” costing £150 a month, plus a one-off £200 fee."
