Just open with Williamson, he’s in so early anyway, I don’t think it will make much difference.Was just thinking if Conway failed again in the second innings I’d pick Young. I reckon win, lose of draw that’s what Stead will do.

Just open with Williamson, he’s in so early anyway, I don’t think it will make much difference.There was a telling stat earlier about Conway averaging 55+ in his first 12 tests, and something like mid 20's in his 14 most recent tests. Young isn't a perfect replacement, but is doing a lot better than Conway lately.
