Well anyone watching J Barrett’s debut for Leinster, turns out he can pass. Must help not having an epileptic dog on roller skates and someone who can pass on his inside

IIRC Wellington has a current contract to have two tests each year.

I'll definitely go to the French test in Hamilton. I haven't bothered in recent years as it's always Argentina. The first time France will have played here since the 1961 tour.

Whilst the optics are bad I can understand why NZR were exploring shifting a test to the US considering Chch don't yet have a proper stadium and Yarrow Stadium is being rebuilt too - especially as France B are unlikely to pack the stadiums.

I suspect multiple non sell outs for the French series.

So Scotland is going to play the NZ Maori in Whangarei but no Test match? Scotland hasn't played a Test in NZ since 2000

I wonder if that means it will not be a full strength Scottish side

It won't be as the BIL tour is on at the same time. They play NSW on the same day.

Razor is banking on the Saders to be back to their best in 2025 and that there will be a few players making a breakout seasons. Just my thoughts. Saders are seldom as bad as 2024, and they still have a lot of developing players coming through with a point to prove.

They're resting their top team's players, so they are not

We will see what that means in practice. There is a French expression "On dit une chose en faire une autre." Basically, say one thing but do another.

                                        Let's hope that's the case.

Several months to go and it wouldn't surprise me if the French bring some (or indeed most) of their top players to NZ.
