I think MItchell gets quite a lot of plaudits? Hell he is still even in the top 10 batsmen list in the world right now

Not really. We’re not exactly at Hoskins Sotutu level obsession.
I just think he’s a bit overhyped that’s all. He’s the 27th best batsman in the world currently. Mitchell is 8th.

He's also 8 years younger than Mitchell.
Yep and I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve to be there. I just think the consistent performances aren’t quite there yet. ( did I really question his inclusion over Nicholls ? I must have had too much home brew )
Maybe I’m judging him too harshly too early on. I probably should have said Mitchell was much more accomplished at the moment.
I’ll go back to griping about Southee while I still can.

Nice little cameo by the "allrounder" Satnav, seems weird saying that, but good on him for turning some form around lately

If he gets a couple of wickets or more in the second innings Santner is a shoo in for MOTM.
