One of the things I love about NFL is the commentators are competing for insightful analysis. They call bad play, they call good play. Rugby ... doesn't have that.

I've just received this alert. The All Blacks app served a purpose for me for score updates etc. I'm not confident the NZR+ app will do the same.

as we've just talked about on the Fantasy thread you can do your fantasy team on the NZR+ app...works well...NZR doing NZR things though in that i can see almost no mention of that ability....i also opened up my All Blacks app only a couple of hours a go...and no mention of it shutting down, or the NZR+ app etc

If NZR put all games they can on this, I'd drop sky in a second. I only watch rugby (and could live without catching any non NZ/AB rugby), F1 if the times good, and one off big events (which again i could miss). Anything big and not on NZR+, I could go to the pub. My Sky Sport Now renewal is 550, a lot for shit I never watch.
Or sky do a slightly cheaper rugby only version

100% same here.
We would drop Sky and pay (let's say) 50-60% of the cost of the full Sky for just rugby.
In truth, we are paying all of Sky for only rugby.If I were them, i would also run it through Amazon prime etc as a pick up channel. They might lose % of revenue that way but it would make it so easy to add .
