Lions teams are always strongest when there’s real diversity within the ranks. With that in mind I hope there’s a fair smattering of Boks Scots in there

Then you should be overjoyed the Scots have been very smattered this season..

@Machpants Lol. Sorry, too obscure. Tupou in that clip. Doing nothing while his teammates crumble. Don’t care what the coaching is for positioning on the drive, at some point you’ve got to help.

Had a go at my starting 23 for the first test:

    1. Porter
    2. Sheehan
    3. Stuart
    4. Itoje ©
    5. Beirne (tempted to go with Chessum here)
    6. Tom Curry
    7. Earl
    8. Doris (would prefer T Willis but can't abide the whinging that would happen)
    9. Gibson-Park
    10. F Smith
    11. Lowe
    12. Tuipolotu / Aki
    13. Jones / Henshaw
    14. Graham
    15. Keenan

    16. Genge
    17. Furlong
    18. George
    19. Chessum
    20. B Curry
    21. White
    22. M Smith
    23. Freeman

re centres, I'm torn between both Ireland and both Scotland, would come down to fitness of the 12s on the day I think

Yeah. bang on. Plus he was more of a centre and must be about 50 now. Ollie has as much chance as a Welshman.

Apologies for all the Taffs but I couldn't resist.

@Catogrande I lived 12 years in Primrose Hill, by the Zoo. The only animals we heard regularly were the wolves.

So instead of Rebels vs Lions in Melbourne for a tour game it will be First Nations/Pasifika team vs Lions

Porter surely can't be the best loosehead available? Or even the best 2?

    Schoemann?
