In a move that will surprise no one, Farrell had been named lions coach for the tour. So maybe the apprentice will become the master (Schmidt) as this looks like the easiest lions tour ever coming up. Ozzie at an all time low, and an improved build up over recent tours. Possibly even a record low for English players too, with Ireland ascendant.
Lions teams are always strongest when there’s real diversity within the ranks. With that in mind I hope there’s a fair smattering of

Had a go at my starting 23 for the first test:
1. Porter 2. Sheehan 3. Stuart 4. Itoje © 5. Beirne (tempted to go with Chessum here) 6. Tom Curry 7. Earl 8. Doris (would prefer T Willis but can't abide the whinging that would happen) 9. Gibson-Park 10. F Smith 11. Lowe 12. Tuipolotu / Aki 13. Jones / Henshaw 14. Graham 15. Keenan 16. Genge 17. Furlong 18. George 19. Chessum 20. B Curry 21. White 22. M Smith 23. Freemanre centres, I'm torn between both Ireland and both Scotland, would come down to fitness of the 12s on the day I think

My sister lives out in the sticks a few miles from Longleat and you can sometimes her the fuckers coughing in the middle of the night. Not very reassuring.
@Catogrande I lived 12 years in Primrose Hill, by the Zoo. The only animals we heard regularly were the wolves.
