Seemed damn close but Ulberg had more output. Clearly didnt want to take too many risks against Jan.

Maybe ulberg vs jiri title fight playoff to then fight winner of Pereira/Ankalaev rematch/trilogy?

Very good card tomorrow. Here's my guesses

      Volkanovski v Lopes
      Chandler v Pimblett
      Rodríguez v Pitbull
      Mitchell v Silva
      Krylov v Reyes

Not certain about any of these

Lopes is extremely dangerous and it's fair to question if Volk can can back from those two big KO's. Volk to control the distance and frustrate Lopes

As everyone has mentioned Pimblett does get hit often and Chandler has the power. I'm picking an early knock out but would pick Pimblett if he gets through the first round

Hard to judge how good Pitbull is. Yair is quality plus he's young and with a significant height and reach advantage.

Mitchell seems comfortable being the villain this week.

Krylov is coming off decent results and I am picking against Reyes chin

        All could go either way

        Great card on paper

I'm picking Silva over Mitchell, otherwise agree with your picks. Hell of a card.

That was impressive by Pimblett. He looked huge in there. Chandler slowed up after badly after that wrestling exchange in round 1

Crazy that Chandler's UFC record is now 2 wins 5 losses

That was a huge effort by Volk.

Lopes will be champ one day

What a card!!! Every fight entertaining as all hell. I get the Pimblett love now. Fighting nerds seem unstoppable. Volk still has it but is vulnerable, agree Lopes will be champ. Will be interesting who Volk goes against next, I can't see him winning a rematch. Lopes just overawed in the early rounds, once he got some confidence he was away.

I'm not convinced by the over awed angle. It's not the first time people have been surprised by AV once he's standing in front of them. The commentary was talking about Lopes needing to force the pace more but Volk's jab, feints and counter punching make entry really difficult.

Check out these striking stats. Not just the totals but the accuracy difference.

Good to see Riddell in the corner too. I wonder if thats a sign he's wanting to fight again soon? 2.5 years since his last fight when he took an extended break

@Duluth True, points only and volk romps home everytime. Just think Lopes's chin so much stronger, hits harder and he's more room for improvement. Kids got massive heart, last couple minutes were awesome

                          @Rembrandt

I wasn’t that impressed by the last round effort. Yes he walked forward but often straight into AV’s fist and he was missing 3/4s of what he threw. The theatrics of pointing to the ground when you are losing is just frustration. Volk was constantly circling away from the power, as he should, and Lopes couldn’t cut him off and force him the other way

As I said earlier I think he’ll be champ but some flaws were exposed tonight.

                            3-2
Better than most of my predictions 😉

Paddy is legit. Chandler was battered.

Finally caught up with the fight night from the weekend.

We have a better idea of Bo Nickal's abilities now. Will be interesting to see how he reacts to that loss. Did anyone else think he looked small? Not sure if he can cut down to WW either given he already cuts a lot of weight. His frame doesn't seem right for the division though

The first two rounds of Mason Jones v Jeremy Stephens was awesome

This weekend Navajo fights again v Ivan Erslan

Yeah great fight and great win for Mason Jones

De Ridder did a job on Nickal. Think De Ridder was too long for Nickal rather than Nickal being small.

The ground work in the first round took more out of Nickal - physically and mentally - and the knees in the second burst the 'Bo Bubble'.

                                  Sandhagen was immense. Silent assassin.

Yeah RDR is tall and Nickal isn't the first wrestling specialist that prefers to come in with a softer look

Something doesn't seem right though. Apparently he was 222 earlier in the week and cut down to 185. Those are Alex Pereira cutting numbers but the end result looks very different. It's an enormous cut to not be as lean as plenty of other fighters.

He said he was trying to bulk up for this opponent.
