Watched Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
Predictable, but funny. Gags are good and well delivered by the cast. Easy way to spend a rainy afternoon.
Somehow Anna Kendrick manages to not look as hot as she should.

First two movies were great, last one was about as bad as Batman and Robin.
Make sure you never watch Banshee then Kirwan, in that universe all you need after being beaten, stabbed and electrocuted is a couple of stiff drinks, a good romp with an impossibly hot woman ( cos in addition to awesome fighting skills there isn't a minga among them ) and a good nights sleep and you're right as rain the next day.

Jurassic World was on after the rugby. Didn't have the menace or chills of the original and best, but some cool action sequences. And some silly stuff, like the hybrid/T Rex fight being ended by the water saurus jumping out and going for the jugular. And Bryce Dallas Howard's ability to keep her stiletto heels on no matter what.
Although I did applaud at the end when T-Rex did her I am ALPHA BITCH Lion King roar on the helipad.

Ghostbusters.
I was surprised by this. As in surprised how much I did not enjoy it. All the great things about the original - the humour, the heart, the sweet romance, the fucking evil villain, the collection of oddball supporting characters just weren't there.
McKinnon and Jones were ok, but McCarthy and Wiig were bland as fuck. Hemsworth was entirely wasted (his dumb was so damned dumb it was irritating. The only time he got interesting was when he got possessed) and Wiig's crush on him was so forced it was kinda gross. Cameos from the originals were too short and again, wasted. The villain was creepy weird rather than scary. The special effects were pretty lame considering how far we've come; if you watch the original, the only thing that is cringeworthy is the 'beast' leaping across the road.
But worst grade of all from me, was the script and plot. There were just no funny moments anywhere, not even a chuckle. And it was more a collection of things happening rather than a story. The mayor was a dick in this movie. And the FBI/military a waste of space.
GRRRRR. I hoped for so much more.
1.5 full torso apparitions out of 5 green slime sneezes. -

Watched The Infiltrator last night. Walter White is on the good side of the war against drugs infiltrating members of Pablo Escobar's USA based crew. John Leugazamo (I Messum-ed that) and Diane Kruger in support.
Decent but a bit slower moving than NARCOs. 3.5 washed dollar bills out 5 dodgy Panamanian based banks.

Equilibrium
Christian Bale enforces the laws in a dystopian, post-WW-3 future.
Feelings and emotion have been identified as the causes of conflict, so have been banned. People suppress their feelings with Prozium and get about their day with minimal ... anything. Art of any kind is banned as it elicits emotional responses.
Anyway, the first half of the film is about as dry as that description, but it picked up nicely toward the second stanza.

That's a good summary - also big nods to Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
