If that happened the Chiefs wouldn’t be ranked 1st out of the remaining 4. They drop a ranking to 2nd. So the Blues and Chiefs would be in different semis

No it wouldn’t because both the Crusaders and Brumbies would be out. So the rankings would go Chiefs, Canes, Reds, Blues wouldn’t it? Or would the Canes then go top?

No it wouldn’t because both the Crusaders and Brumbies would be out. So the rankings would go Chiefs, Canes, Reds, Blues wouldn’t it? Or would the Canes then go top?

@MiketheSnow I dont think it's too complicated. But I'll admit it's not simple.
I think it would be better and easier to follow if lucky loser dropped to the bottom seed, not just drop one spot. -

@MiketheSnow I find it not right how one of the Brumbies or the Hurricanes could get beaten by 100+ points next weekend, but rise up from the dead for the Semi Final.
That's not knockout Rugby.
