@sparky ha I even looked at that, think he was paying about $6 to birdie the first...

+2 first round for Fox which isnt bad considering some of the scoring. Puts him T33

    JJ Spaun leading at -4.

At the moment it looks like more players will shoot 80 or more in the first round than under par

Sepp Straka & Shane Lowry both post +9 rounds
Justin Rose didn't fear much better at +7
    Other notable names
Jason Day, Tony Finau , Patrick Cantlay & Justin Thomas post +6
Defending champion Bryson DeChambeau is at +3 alongside Scottie Scheffler and Rory +4
Previous winners Brooks Koepka is T3 at -2 and Jon Rahm T6 at -1

It can go wrong quickly - Sam Burns was -3 late in his round and dropped 5 shots in the last 4 holes.

Fox finishes round 2 on +5, which is the projected cut at moment, but they keep saying it is likely to go up, so if the case, he makes cut on another major.

yup some carnage starting to appear in rd 2
    Cut now sitting at +6,
Top 60 and ties go through and Foxy is Tied for 50th currently.

on another note... 5 groups on one hole is a bit ridiculous...

Cut is currently sitting at +7
Justin Thomas, Sepp Straka, Joaquin Niemann, Dustin Johnson, Min Woo Lee, have finished their rounds and all miss the cut. Rory McIlroy is flirting with the cut line and is currently at +8. He has 7 holes to play

Fox might end up top 20 at this rate. +7 and T21. Not bad considering.

Currently no one under par. Unlikely to get it finished today either now with the weather delay. Hopefully the light hangs around.

JJ Spaun is a major champion! What a putt to win the US Open!
His second win on tour and his first major.

So may players walking away from Oakmont frustrated and thinking about what could have been. JJ Spaun went out and won that trophy while so many wilted around him. Incredible finish!

Ryan Fox ended up finishing T19. Not bad at all for Foxy.

Spaun dropped 5 shots in his first 6 holes - looked like he was toast at that point. Gutsy win.
