@Mattasaurus what was it, 25 minute wait....pathetic.

Love to see Scott in final pair on Sunday

Tough out there, love seeing Scott in contention.
Foxy T39 on +8

JJ Spaun is a major champion! What a putt to win the US Open!
His second win on tour and his first major. So may players walking away from Oakmont frustrated and thinking about what could have been. JJ Spaun went out and won that trophy while so many wilted around him. Incredible finish!
Ryan Fox ended up finishing T19. Not bad at all for Foxy.

Gutted Scott couldnt hold it together!
But great result for Spaun and Foxy gotta be stoked with his major performance again.
-
Spaun dropped 5 shots in his first 6 holes - looked like he was toast at that point. Gutsy win.
Definitely a gutsy win. Spaun said in his speech during the trophy presentation he drew on the experience of that playoff loss to Rory at The Players over those last few holes to hang in there. He earnt himself $4.3 million, 700 FedEx Cup points which moved him up to sixth in the FedEx Cup rankings, receives a 10 year exemption to the US Open and the next five editions of the other three majors. His PGA Tour membership is extended as US Open champion through 2030.
-
Sam Burns shot +8 on his final round and Foxy shot -1.
If Sam had shot anything close to Ryan (+2 would've been enough) he'd be the US Open champion.
It's a brutal game.
Poor Duangmanee shot +35 to miss the cut.
This suggests I'm not breaking 180 on a good day!

Someone was selling a variety of new balls at the local Nelson auction house, recently - they were going at a rate of a dollar a ball. So, I have a new arsenal - they're a bit mismatched, but that don't confront me none.
Aside from that, I suspect quite often I don't want to find my ball!

The putt!

@Cyclops I saw him get interviewed after 2nd or 3rd round of this tournament.
He said he has lost fear, or was more relaxed, so was prepared to take the slightly riskier shots after the first win.
Also remember seeing him say after the first one he was relaxed as a sportsman of his age to know he could play in USA for a couple of years pretty well set him up.Gee, why didn't anyone post that earlier?

No worries Dan ... Just feeling ignored
Heard him say winning his first the other week has made him relax. Paraphrasing, but he's not afraid of hitting a bad shot any more, because the pressure has gone.
