I too enjoyed Superman but would only give it 3.5 hoha dogs out of 5 pocket universes.
I thought it took a while to get going and like most modern blockbusters had too many fight scenes.
But definitely a Gunn movie, very funny at times, and his trademark musical fight scene.
A welcome change from the Snyderverse, and DC looking good going forward.

Yeah, the Superman movie is better than average, looks gorgeous and is very funny. Nicholas Hoult steals the show as Lex Luther.
The lead actor lacks Christopher Reeve's charisma and the last ten minutes felt like they were setting up future movies too much. But apart from that it was a fun way to spend two hours and a bit.
And I liked the bits with the CGI dog.
It's one of those films that if you are going to watch then see it on as big a screen as you can. I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed it half as much if I'd seen it on a plane or on an IPad.

Always a battle being a sequel to a cult classic, but I think it hit most of the marks retaining alot of the silly humour, returning characters, new ones, cameos, poking fun at LIV, enjoyable!

Probably 4-5 times in total now.
Gee whiz it’s the hardest Tarantino movie to rate in my opinion.
Leo is fucken cool and Brad is even cooler. Their chemistry is awesome. Margot Robbie is lovely to look at. It is full of snappy dialogue ( of course ). The period is captured brilliantly. The Spahn ranch scene and finale are awesomely violent.
BUT…..
There is heaps of pointless filler, it really, really drags at times. I really drifted off in some scenes. There is fuck all in terms of actual storyline
I still can’t decide where it ranks overall, at its absolute best it’s well up there……but at its worst it’s down there……
So it’s probably about 5th out of 10 ( assuming you rank Kill Bill as two films )

Having read your review with some enthusiasm, I felt compelled to visit Wiki to see what the plot, etc is like. If anything it seems a lot worse that your review would suggest, which is some accomplishment.

Plot is trying to be Firefox starring Clint Eastwood.
Except... Stephen Seagal is no Clint Eastwood. And every other attribute has a similar drop-off in quality.
One minute the Special Forces team are Navy Seals, then they're Rangers, and later on they're a Seal team again. Both branches probably pressured the writers to make it the other - because whoever they were, they were fucking incompetent.
US Navy deploying F-16s with desert camo from a carrier.
Every single shot of footage re: any military - grainy stock footage from the 80s.
And then... fuck, every 10 minutes there would be some nonsensical scene/exchange. SS: "Where's my SEAL team?" (SEAL/Ranger team was long-dead by this point) General: "We're prepping a team to insert..." SS: "Don't worry about it."
Bizarre interactions between Navy Admiral and Navy Colonel... like the writer wanted it to be tension between a "hawk" and more conservative - but the editing team didn't realise that.
Set in Afghanistan, the bad guys have a henchman with STRONG british accent, and a henchwoman. Seagal has his contact in Afghanistan - Jennifer, with whom he has a past, and seems to be running a brothel or similar? In Afghanistan.
I preferred Velocipastor to this.Edit: sorry, I can't get over this... thing. I just remembered that I rewinded/rewound the end credits several times to confirm - nobody ever claimed Director or Writer credits... and I thought "fair-e-fucking-nough". Just now, looking it up on IMDB - I skipped past that to see that the plot summary has this abomination occurring in "Banansistan"? WTAF?

Once you suspend any critical faculties (yeah I know ... dinosaurs ... ) or any pretense that this had anything to do with Jurassic Park, but was actually Indiana Jones meets Tomb Raider meets Jumanji it becomes quite enjoyable.
Forget the gaping plot holes (i.e., how the hell is the electricity still working?) it's a movie about beautiful people adventuring around the tropics seeking out monsters while channelling Avatar and Avatar sequels and reimagining scenes from the original.
Pretty sure it will struggle at the Ocars but an enjoyable way to spend a rainy Sunday morning.
3.5 demented seagull looking things out of 5 why does that creature look like the Predator?
Watched this on the weekend, had some of the original vibes, thought it was decent enough watch.

I think KB2 blew the promise of KB1, and I actually found it quite boring. Also I only saw Death Proof fairly recently and was pleased it wasn't as bad (comparatively) as I was led to believe.
