Untamed
Starring Sam Neil, Eric Bana, with the latter as the cliched moody cop with the tortured past.
Not a must watch, but a decent enough watch with a couple of little twists.
Tires
Finished both seasons, pretty good with some funny, silly stuff.

Just started this as well.
That opening scene was pretty horrific for someone like me who hates heights.
Some pretty stunning scenery too, not sure if they’re overdoing shots of it to make up for a cliched story we’ve seen so many time before. Will keep watching and decide !

Really gave me Dark Winds vibes. Just present day and higher production value.

The Assassin. Keeley Hawes and Freddie Hightower. A story about a retired hit woman having to come out of retirement to protect her son.
Yes I know. That premise alone should have told me to avoid but...
First impression = KH does not age anywhere near as well as Liz Hurley. Second impression = FH is confirmed as a deeply annoying actor rather than an actor that simply plays deeply annoying characters.
It is an action series that has the leaning towards comedy based simply on some far fetched characters, a lot of swearing and some inane banter.. As such it fails to hit the comedy sweet spot and is a poor action series.
High spot is Gina Gershon veering between MILF hotness and slight over ripeness. No actual tits though.
1 annoying little fluffybunny out of 5 pathetic "action" sequences.
Avoid.

Wife and I just finished The Middle.
Gotta say, I loved that show.
So many traits of the 3 kids were relatable to ours, even some of the parents stuff, particularly early on, but I am not sure there was a single episode I didnt laugh out loud at something.

I enjoyed that series too. It turns out Patricia Heaton is in two of my all time favourite comedies.

Finally got around to watching the first season of Severance
Too slow, too boring. What happens in episode nine should've happened way earlier and we'd have had an interesting program. Instead I'm concerned I'll invest 10 hours for the second season for something to happen in the last 15 mins.
tl;dr - boring and insufferably indulgent. Hook in the end to keep you interested. Avoid.

@antipodean thank you! I just didn't get it, so now we're in the same boat. Screenshot saved for evidence. You're welcome.
