Finally got around to watching the first season of Severance
Too slow, too boring. What happens in episode nine should've happened way earlier and we'd have had an interesting program. Instead I'm concerned I'll invest 10 hours for the second season for something to happen in the last 15 mins.
tl;dr - boring and insufferably indulgent. Hook in the end to keep you interested. Avoid.

@antipodean thank you! I just didn't get it, so now we're in the same boat. Screenshot saved for evidence. You're welcome.

Watched the first two episodes of Chief of War and I've found it entertaining. A bit too violent for my tastes but will keep watching.
Ofa Tu'ungafasi makes a good cameo in the first episode.
Momoa is strangely compelling in his role. Good supporting cast. Some real characters in there.

Place of Execution - Lee Ingelby and Juliet Stevenson
This one passed me by in 2008. It's part police procedural and part mystery. The bad guy is pretty obvious from the start, he may as well have worn a black hat, but apart from that it was a well made series going back and forth in time with a good 60s feel to the older stuff. Lee Ingelby is always good and so is Juliet Stevenson when she's given a part that doesn't require her to cry all the time.
The story keeps you watching without being exactly gripping, teh twist at the end though is not anticipated.
4 poor lonely, muzzled dogs out of 5 she's never 13.

Yeah the twist was unforeseen.
Mrs Boo started watching and I got drawn in.

I haven't started watching this yet but there were plenty of ex-ABs in the cast.

@Bovidae Renee, Frank, Piri, Troy, Eric. Who else we got? Is that Floss at the back?
They look only one small movement away from a remake of Deliverance with that pic.
The Waterfront
Quite good if very predictable yarn about a drug smuggling family with their own internal squabbles.
Nerdy Topher Grace playing against type is surprisingly awesome as a crazy drug baron

If you've ever made and given a mix tape, watch it
If you've ever reconnected with an old flame, watch it
If you've ever wondered what if, watch it
4.5 C60s out of 5 C90s

Cool stunts, cartoonish violence and total over the top bullshit.
Great fun switching the brain off and enjoying the ride.
Sweet Tooth is awesome.
Sweet Tooth is played by wrestler Samoa Joe

Loved season one, assuming you’re watching season two
